I don't know the correct number for any of those brands. I have heard the correct ones talked about in a few threads.
Maybe Malcolm or James or someone knows and will speak up.
I use a Optima yellow top with the post on the wrong side so I had to change my cables.

Brad, I thought that I had read that the Optima was a touch too tall for the battery compartment?

i used a bosch #48 from pepboys. seems pretty resilient, even with my car's drain issues.

No there seems to be lots of room in my 89 euro
The black tape on the power cable is only for extra protection against rubbing.

No problem Jon.
They are expensive but in my opinion an unreliable car is no good.
I spent $700 on a 200 amp alternator and $300 on that battery and in 3 years I have never had to boost it.
