Very carefully pull the light above the rear view mirror out, and check the wiring. Be especially suspicious of the red wire touching the roof metal...

I (well the wife) received the Battery Tender yesterday. I've got a neighbor taking out the battery for the initial charge, plus he's gonna test the battery. Then it'll go back in once fully charged, and the car will be on the maintainer until I get home, and whatever charging issues resolved. IF there are any.

He offered to test the alternator as well, but I really don't need an inexperienced hand "probing" my 928. He is a VERY good mechanic, but not a 928 mechanic at all.

I just happened to notice that O'Reiley's has the Battery Tender Jr on sale for $32.99 ($7 off) and the Battery Tender Plus on sale for $54.99 ($15 off).

That's a pretty good price. I got mine from Battery Mart online, and it was right at $55 with shipping. It was originally $45ish.

Well, turns out my battery just needs to be replaced. So, what recommendations do you guys have? I tend to put Die-Hard stuff in my cars, but I can't remember the size that the 928 uses. I know it's HUGE. EDIT: Group 48 or 49 should be the one. I'm getting clarification on what was in there tomorrow.

I have a line on getting an Optima cheaper, but I'm NOT a huge fan honestly, and they're WAY overpriced regardless.

I've had decent success with Duralast stuff too. But, I prefer my batteries from Sears!
