New to 928 Club - The 1978 Survivor

The production number would be the last four digits of the vin minus 10

1627 -10 = 1617 production number.

5400 miles!!! That has got to be one of the lowest mileage 928s anywhere?

Is the garage you've taken it to experienced in 928s? The only reason I say this is that they have their own foibles and you need to know them all. After draining the fuel, my first test would be for fuel leaks by bypassing the relay.
