Organizing a 928 OC Sponsored Event

Hey Stan,

Well I just spoke to Adam last night and we had such a great time we've decided to hold a semi-annual event.

We're already planning for the one in the spring.

The theme will be 'Wake up your shark' (after winter storage for most) and the tech session will consist of complete brake bleeds for anyone interested, pad replacement if necessary and also a wheel bearing replacement for as many as we can get done. (Adam has it down to a science and can do a pair in just a couple of hours now, the right tools are KEY).

So when we pick a date and start polling the local 928ers we'll let the OC know how many we expect and maybe you can help sponsor us again.

If you want a mentor to help you to run an event in your area, we should be able to find one. Most events are organized by the efforts of one person...

We're getting pretty good at running Frenzy by committee... but you need to choose the right committee.

I am sponsoring a car show in Athens GA on Oct 20th. I would like to extend an invitation to all 928 owners. Participation will make you eligible for "928 mini meet winner" plaques to be selected by fellow 928ers. This is a show for the benefit of the Athens Technical College Alumni Association. If the club has an interest in extending an invite to all regional sharks, I will take care of everything else.
