The camshaft numbers are actually 928 105 251 1R on my engine. I am buying two valve heads from a US 83-84 engine with camshaft number 928 105 251 00. The person I am buying the valve heads from doesn't know if 346 1R or 356 1R goes with the 928 105 251 00 camshaft head. He has two sets of complete valve heads from two different cars.
I am going to use an 83-84 US engine set of valves that are smaller but will work. (I will have a loss of some performance but I am told this should work.)

Euro '83 engine is different than Euro '84. Euro '83 uses L-jet technology and the infamous green wire. Euro '84-'86 uses twin distributors and LH techology complete with CPS and MAF. That being said, some Euro '84 engines have proven to be non-interference apparently due to Porsche's use of overstocked '83 internal engine parts in the '84 engines. I installed the harmonic balancer backwards in one of my '84 Euros and tried to start it. I would have thought that valves would be bent, but they were not.

It would be far cheaper and better to replace the bent valves.
New the inlet valve 928 105 409 02 are $15 each
New exhaust valves 928 105 417 03 are $32 each.
