alright, you are being way too nice, so guilted me into reading most of the thread.

Doesn't an '84 US have LH? Have you had that reviewed at all?

Do you hear ticking under the hood with the key on engine off?

Stan,
'84 US is still L-Jet. '84 Euro is LH.

Johnny,
You say you checked the fuel injection relay. It may just work intermittently.
Use a three-pronged jumper to bypass the fuel injection relay. This will remove all doubt as to the relay. Jumper terminal 30 to both terminal 87's to bypass.

Please let us know the results.

Hey fellas. Here's the latest. I actually posted her for sale for a bit, then regretted it and decided to forge forward, lol.

My next step is to get injectors out of the question. AFAIK, they are original injectors, and I've been replacing/renewing so much, that I want these to be done too. My question is, where do I send these out, or do I just buy new ones (pricey)

Since you have a noid light - plug the light into one of the injectors and leave it there. If the engine is going to run, it will run on seven cylinders. Crank it and let it idle as you are watching the noid light - try to see if you lose the noid light before the engine stops. Try to crank it and see if the noid light flashes while the engine will not run. If you have a flashing noid light, and the engine will not run, the injectors are not likely to be the problem.

If you have functional injectors, and you have a good spark, the problem is likely to be fuel mixture. Use an Ohmmeter or multimeter to check the resistance of each of the pins in the Temp II sensor to ground (never pin-to-pin). The Temp II sensor for the injection system is located pointing down on the top front of the engine on the water crossover. The resistance on this sensor should be 2-3 kOhms from the pin to earth at room temperature and 250-400 Ohms at 80 deg C. If this sensor is faulty, starting will be difficult.
