Thanks Guys.

Here is the way I see it.

The vender we are talking about (comes up with ~) some great ideas.

I Think the problem is he expects it to be installed in a shop with all the tools and old parts so that it can be adapted,
and he expects it to be done by a mechanic that can figure it out, right or wrong.
Since the early to the latest cars have some differences, the part or kit stops and leaves it up to the owner to fit where needs be.

I do not agree with this, but because some of the stuff he sells is unique i didn't give it much thought.

Well now that its time to install it, I have to give it the thought and think the way an old racer would.
It sucks because its unexpected what you will have to do and once you commit then stock stuff can not be used.

BTW the vender has removed the fuel lines from the kit on his page. I can not find it anywhere on his web site.

I am going to document my fix for the stuff that I bought and will be starting with the fuel lines/fuel rail kit.

ILL do this in my profile.

Brad: Did you get the manifold spacers from the vendor in question? The graph looks persuasive...

No I didn't.

I think there is more to this fix then just installing a plate and so I have been waiting to see what everyone else finds. More then just 1 vender sells them.

They will probably help a stock engine but will they be enough if boost comes into the question down the road? Thats why I'm waiting.

I feel the intake needs more help.

It does sound a little too simple - why would Porsche not have extended the intake a bit since there's room...

:( the parts didnt arrive Brad.

I was in Edmonton this week and watching the USPS tracking which indicated CDN customs released the shipment Apr 19.

My wife was in Calgary but she headed home early Thurs aft to make it in time before our local post office closed for the long Easter weekend but there was only bills.

I'm so frustrated right now. My car was running like crap because of a new Porsche hose failed under the intake after only 5000 kms and a few years. It meant removing the intake again and once more Im ordering +$900 worth of parts to fix a $30 hose because I truly do not want to do this work again.

I know others have a PO box just on the other side of the border so they can run down, pick up, pay duties and have parts in hand in a few days.

My shipment left Tx Apr 11......it will be +2 weeks to get here.

I need to either fully step away or do another project that I do have parts for.....like change the suspension Eibach springs back to stock.......now wheres that wrench?
