Hello,
I just bought one from ebay, around fifty bucks. It's a C5 intake, it didn't have to be modified to fit the 86

The concern is that your air filters are deep in the engine bay, so will only get warm/hot air.

Hello,
It isn't finished, I need to plumb the elbows and tubes yet. I put the filters on to keep foriegn things out of the intake.(I don't drive it yet) Since I had the cones I put them on instead of using a rag. I couldn't find anyone who makes a kit for this, so everything has to be pieced together. I was relieved to find the Y piece, I didn't want to buy one from McMaster - Carr made from sst and cut it to fit, weld it, re-polish it etc. The other concern would be where to put the filters, locate them as in the other picture, or in front of the tubes just after the fresh air rams?(above the radiator) Odds are I'll have to fab something. There is less room on the S3 as there is on the S4 for the elbows, tubes and filters, mainly because of the difference in the intake size. S3 only has appx. 8" useable space for the elbows.
