PLEASE SEE THE THREAD TITLE. There is a question mark. That designates a question. I was asking if, how and why a trustee for the OC should be banned from these forums.

Apparently there is no erroneous presumption on my part. You, as administrator, removed Malcolm as a moderator. Apparently his actions as a moderator, by his error or his malfeasance, provoked YOUR actions as administrator. You, as administrator, obviously thought he did something wrong. You, as administrator, obviously COULD reverse his removal as a moderator. That's why your name even showed up in this thread at all.

So, in spite of your protestations to the contrary, we find that you WERE involved.

I was not involved in the actions you were questioning. You asked about his posts being deleted and his ID being banned. I had nothing to do with either action, they were done in the past couple of days.

I removed Malcolm's moderator authority on Saturday, nearly a week ago.

P.S. 9/16 (not 9/15) is the end of the election, in case that matters to you. The new president will not take office until 9/28.

Actually I think the guy with the fake name or ID was removed.

I know that at work a lot of my communication is through e-mail (typed comments)

Because the person reading the typed info does not see the body language or here the tone of the OP, it is easy to misunderstand what was really meant or what was trying to be communicated.

I sat on the phone with Austin from 1:45 to 3:00 in the morning last night just to talk about this thread and the original cause.

I would recommend that some of you that are not seeing eye to eye, pick up the phone and at least try to explain your points while trying, I mean really trying to keep an open mind and see the others point of view.

Sometimes its the ice breaker that is the hardest and who knows, you may even become/remain friends.

I hope my attempt at constructive advice does not fall on deaf ears

Closing this thread as the original questions of admin and moderator handlings of Malcolm's account have been answered. We will consider the feedback and review the matter further. Thank you for your input.
