Im replacing the water pump, belt and goodies for my 1980. i live in AZ and can someone help me with adjusting the timing belt with there Kempf tool? i live in the east valley of Phx.

If you have the skill to Replace the water pump, setting the timing belt tension is a snap! Go for it!

When i did mine i set it closer to the high side..check it and rotate your engine twice and repeat till you get the same reading a few times..much easier with the plugs out tho. I forget how many teeth down the belt you put it tho.seems like 8 but im not sure. Oh an make sure your timing marks line up each time before you check it.
