wide track option

hi All i am new to this forum and based in London UK. I have just acquired a White 928 S2 from early 86. i have managed to find some original 7 slot wheels for it which i will be reinstating hopefully soon, but then i noticed on the option list for my car that it has a wide track option fitted...does this mean i cant put the regular alloys on? forgive me if its a stupid question but im not that techy!!

I'm not 100% sure, but I bet they will fit fine as I don't recall there being different wheels with that option code. If I'm not mistaken, the "wide track" option is just an add-on spacer. There's typically plenty of clearance with stock wheels of any year, many including myself have gone to wider wheels and/or spacers to help fill out the fender wells. I'd be very surprised if you have any issues.
