Great looking car. I especially like the setting - no snow, no ice, just pavement and palm trees. (My toy cars are currently in the hobby garage, surrounded by snow and 1 1/2 inches of new snow/ice on the driveway and roads!!)

Thanks. I'm pretty smitten with its looks, too. I have to hold back a tear for the '92 E34 BMW M5 that is going to have to leave my garage to pay for the 928. I'm hoping that, with the performance mods that everyone seems to carry out with the Porken chip and support installations, that it will provide the level of driving excitement that the M5 does.

The does indeed look nice in its photo setting. I wouldn't want to have it here now because I'd want to go out and drive it and that would be a big mistake. The M5 is tucked under its cover until the roads are free of snow, ice and slush. The M5 doesn't even have provisions for winter tires. i don't know what kind of winter driver a 928 is. I used to drive my 72 911 in the snow and it was fine. I suspect that the 928, equpped with good snow (not all-weathr) tires, would be pretty good, given its weight balance and all.

I'm looking forward to driving the 928 with my girlfriend from Daytona to Bucks County once Autobahn motors is through with it. The one thing I know about 928s is they make great high-speed long distance drivers.
