What a great event. Thanks go to Harvey Carlisle and Scott Martin for organizing the event. The 928 OC supports these events. If anyone wishes to organize such an event contact us about the potential of providing support.
We met in Rapid City, SD. I'll post some photos.
The parking lot of the Cambria Hotel was full of Porshe 928 Eye Candy
Hans brought examples of his handy work
We lined up for a group photo near Mt. Rushmore
What a great view!
The monument

Traffic was busy after visiting Mt. Rushmore
We visited the private Crazy Horse Memorial
It is work in progress, funded by donations.
This is a closer view
This is the master plan for the finished monument. A whole lot of work is needed to finish it.
The next day we visited the Devils Tower in Wyoming.
We again thank Harvey and Scott for such a great event. I drove over 2900 miles in my 1987 Porsche 928 S4.

Our return home took us through Utah. We visited the Arches National Park and drove through Monument Valley.
The Delicate Arch is one of the most famous sights. The size can be judged from the person in the photo under the arch.
On the drive to Monument Valley we passed Mexican Hat
The "Mexican Hat" is upside down.
Here we are approaching Monument Valley.
What a spectacular view!
It was a nice ride home.
