I am holding an event called Fuel Up that I once held yearly prior to moving to California a few years ago from Michigan.
Now that I am in Michigan for the time being I decided to dust off the event after 8 years.
See the notes below and feel free to attend. a "special interest" vehicle is not necessary but it would be great to have a few 928's there besides mine!

Fuel Up “Rebuilt” –
An event to celebrate summer and enjoy the enthusiasm of the automobile and motorcycle by having a gathering of owners of “special interest” vehicles from varied brands and time periods gathered in an interesting setting including, food, drink, audio and visual entertainment.
In past years the the FU event was held at my home. After a long hiatus the event event will be held at the Woodward Warehouse located in Royal Oak. See the link below for details regarding the venue:

What You'll be doing!
Arrive, mingle and by all means share stories about the project they’re working on (vehicle wise) or how they came across the vehicle of their choice. In addition the FU event is good for reconnecting with friends that one may not see very often. i.e socialize. Eat, drink, listen to music and be merry!
BYOB meaning feel free to bring a beverage to share, As in years past a "wheel barrow" was used to collect the varied liquid "courage". This time however we may find something different! Also a grill will be available and as before feel free to bring something to grill. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be available.
