I am needing to buy 2 working cooling fans for my 88 S4 Auto. Last fall after purchasing this car one of the original fans was Inop so I went ahead and sent both off to have rebuilt. I was told the shop was excellent.

Many fuses and a fuse block later I now have 2 dead fans and a burned up Final Stages Module. Problem is the rebuilt fans have been putting out so much power everything in there path has been toasted.

Anyone with a pair of used working Cooling Fans I would like to talk.

Thanks in Advance

Sorry to hear of your issues with the cooling system. Replacing the fuse holder was my on the fly repair as we both had assumed that the cooling system was in good working order from the repairs that were made before. The fact that you are still popping fuses for your cooling fans tells me that the issue was not isolated to just the fuse holder. Hopefully, you have received an accurate diagnosis for what is amiss with the system.

Who is the shop that is working on this?

You can get used ones from 928 Intl for a good price and I have one that works (we thought it was broke so I ordered a new/used one from 928 Intl just to figure out it was my fan speed controller that was toast).

Be sure to check that fan speed controller because if it is toast then new fans won't help you. These little units are DAMN expensive too! They are the finned thing at the very nose of the car on the passenger side right down where the bumper cover is. Rectangle, finned metal deal about 6" by 3.5"... one big wire connector going in to it from the top.
