We have been making 928 Engine wiring harnesses for about 6 years now. This month we have decided to expand our product offering to include the 928 Injector Harness and the 944, 944S, S2 and 951 engine wiring harnesses.
At the moment, the plan with the 928 Injector Wiring Harness is to cut in a connector about 8" into the engine compartment from the firewall grommet.
Then all wiring (and connectors) from that weather-tight connector forward
will be new. This is how we are doing the 944 and 951 harnesses.
Several reasons for this design: 1) the DME connectors for the LH and EZK are crazy expensive and this way we don't have to buy them; 2) the wiring inside the car (behind the firewall) on the 928 is in fine shape and rarely needs replacement; and 3) this give you a much-wanted plug-in connector at the firewall so you can just unplug the engine and take the wiring harness in and out with the motor, and 4) by having the 928 owner send us their harness and we add the connector and all new wires and send it back, we KNOW we have built you and sent you the right harness for your car because we are returning your very own harness to you.
IF YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE OF OUR ENGINE WIRING HARNESSES INSTALLED: please post a note about what you think of it.
Thank you

They look good Carl but I need to ask.
Is this engine harness for my 89 Euro $779.00 plus $20 shipping?

Undoubtedly - my mech had a heck of a time taking out, repairing and putting it back. But it made a HUGE diff in getting rid of ghosts and odd intermittent problems.
