I believe Robert Budd can make/replace one for you if you send him the hardware. Might be an alternative.

i ve seen their listings. they do make the cover, just have none of the frame, knobs or wires for it.

The really early cars had a completely different design that I don't think ANYONE is making at this point. There had been some talk of having a few of the 78 (perhaps 79 also??) covers made, but I'm not sure if that ever happened, or if all the early cars actually even had the snaps installed for the cover even...
