1989 928 S4 Automatic - $2.5k - project car
The longer story is the buyer started a facebook chat about my facebook advocacy of Ron Paul. The deal was made shortly thereafter.
The buyer is a prior 928 owner and will revive the car!

This world is global (if that is not redundant enough) and he does not seem to understand that... Do we need ALL the bases that we have in foreign countries? Probably not. Do we need to give BILLIONS and BILLIONS to other countries? Probably not. But I fear RP would just cut it all off if he could and that is NOT the way to go... Anyway, maybe Rand Paul will be ready to rock soon...I think his foreign policy ideas are a bit more mainstream and I think he is still the fiscal conservative that his father is...
Wanting to have free and open trade with all friendly countries is not isolationism. While wanting to force all other countries in the world to adopt our culture is empire building, and I would argue is a form of isolationism. Our foreign policy has *not* produced the purported results for decades. We *have* caused other countries to fear and despise us. I am fond of the map showing dozens of US bases on both sides of Iran, with a comment along the lines of "we claim they are threatening us?".
Don't be fooled by the industrial military complex that wants the US to continue spending to sustain them. We should be a country of peace, setting an example, not a country of war, persisting invading sovereign countries.
