Hi, my 89' S4 needs to be towed to a repair shop. What is the proper way to tow a 928 onto a tow truck (AAA)? Is there a hook or something like that at the bottom of the front of the car?
Thank you for any useful comments.

Your 928 should ONLY be flat towed ... there is a tow hook in the tool kit that screws into a hole in the grill (if it isn't corroded). The information should be in the owners manual. There are two sturdy factory hooks at the front of the car that with care not to damage the base of the front too that can be used to pull the car up on the flat-bed.
The tow truck driver should have mounts that can fit over the tires or loop through the wheels.
I'd be sure to ask the tow company if they have experience with performance cars. You don't want more damage than you're towing it in for a fix.

Thank you for your reply. I plan to have AAA to have a flatbed to tow it. I can't find the tow hook. Is it a must to have tow hook to tow a 928 onto a flatbed?
Thanks again

Look to your tool kit that is at the very rear of the interior hatch area.
This is the tow hook. Look in your owners manual for the points where it screws in. Some lubricant will be needed to aid screwing it in as it will be dry and possible corroded.
