Fuel leak at Tank Valve

First off, at the bottom of the tank, is that a valve or a low volume pump?

Second dose it leak from its housing?
(I resealed the gasket 2 weeks ago and it still leaks)

Is replacement the fix?

Brad the picture you show is for a an intank pump if you sealed it then there is a good chance that the metal collar thats sealed to the tank plastic has broken its seal , the best solution is tank replacement but you may get lucky and reseal it with other types of sealants.
Either way you are looking at tank removal so a new used tank may be best

+1 on the tank replacement suggestion. If you're anything like me, then it will always be on the back of your mind if you know it's just not quite right back there. Also, it can potentially be very dangerous if the leak goes on without your knowledge. If your protective rubber boots aren't perfect on either of the external pump connections, and say either of them were to wiggle loose, then there's a very real chance a spark from a poor connection could ignite the leaking fuel.

The strainer turns into a steel collar that will leak over time?
Is there no way to fix it?
What about a larger gasket that seals to the out side of the tank?

There is a flat seal that goes between the outer housing of both the strainer and the fuel pump, doens't matter which one you have. The seals fail over time. Change that and you will be fine.

Mine looks like this with a thick square gasket/o-ring.
I used aviation gasket cement on both sides of the square o-ring
and noticed it leaking, not as bad, 3 days later.
I heard the housing may leak??? this is $220

dose anyone have any first hand experience with one like this.
If know one has heard of the valve housing leaking due to hair line crack or being porous, then ILL pull it and try again.
