fuel pump preasure

I have a 84 928 s, would like to know if any one knows what the pressure should be. I measured at the fuel filter, and injector rails. It was ~120 psi.

That seems really high and i do not even know if that is possible from a stock pump.

Could it be that your gauge is bad, the easy way to check is to try with a different gauge (borrow one) and take a picture for us so that we see where the connection is made.

BTW what name should we call you.

My name is James, and yes I could try another gauge. But what should the pressure be? the only reference I found was 58 psi and 35 gph.

Somewhere around 36psi would be ideal fuel pressure on your '84.
