Malcolm you should have been WELL DONE at 260kph... I have been 265kph on the A95 in my '92 GTS! Not much left beyond that, but it was still pulling! Been 280ish kph in a '01 996 TT but I am not saying WHERE!

Most I've ever drove was 125 MPH. Didn't stay there long and definitely could have gone higher. I was just too worried about the Smokeys. I don't need a ticket going twice the speed limit. Not a lot of roads around here that I feel comfortable driving at a high speed. I'm ALWAYS itching to do it though!!

I would suspect I have been in the 130-140mph range thousands of times at the track in my M3 and 928 race car. Of course the real excitment is going through the corners at 100+mph.

I have been north of those figures on a motorcycle and perhaps that was not on the track A big adrenaline rush for me

I used to crack off runs to 125 or 130 every time I got on my Hurricane 600 and like Stan I can't count the number of times I have been over 130 at TWS and TMS (the only two really fast tracks I have been on) but the REAL fun is going that fast and then turning the wheel to go around a corner!!! YEA BABY!!
