I have an opportunity to buy this sled with very little info to go on. The price is so good though, I may just do it for the hell of it. I'm wondering if you can give me any info.

Thanks in advance wise ones!

That picture indicates to me that it is in the range of 1987 S4 thu 1991 S4 / GT with GTS style wheels. Have the seller provide you with a VIN.

It's either an 87 or 88. The radio antenna was mounted on the roof starting in 1989. More here: 928oc.org/928-resources/2015-01-23-21-15...nfo/87-91-s4-gt-info

You guys were correct. It's an 87' S4. Turns out it only has 50K miles. What should it sell for? According to the owner, the computers have all been "redone" it's always been garaged and driven only a few times per year.

Hagerty Insurance has a good valuation tool. Here are the valuations for an 87S4: www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/1987-Porsche-928-S4
After a thorough inspection, determine which grade (1-4) best describes the car. Note the -20% adjustment for automatic transmission.
