It seems that I am late to the party. I have not gone through all the post regarding the upcomming elections. My homework for the weekend.
I have been a member for a number of years. I own two (2) 928's. One is a 90S4 which I have owned since 1999 and is my daily driver. The other is a 91GT which I have owned for a couple of years and is currently a garage queen.
Just for the laymen, like me, on this web forum I just have a few questions that i need clarified:
1. How does this election thing really work?
2. Who is actually involved in making sure it is impartial and no hanky panky is done?
3. Who owns the website and its related functions?
4. Where are the bylaws published?
5. Why is this website so combursome to navigate for computer challenged people, like me?
Thanks for listening.

1. I am not sure what you want to know. The election is how the board is selected
2. The 928 OC board
3. The 928 Owners Club
4. 928oc.org/pdf/928OC_Bylaws_II.pdf (links can be found in the navigation and in this forum.
5. I don't know, four dropdown menu options on the home page, the same menu on all pages. I don't think it could be simpler.

"5. Why is this website so combursome to navigate for computer challenged people, like me?"
The primary reason for the complexity of the site is that there is so much here. It does take some time to fully explore the full contents, but I think that it is time well spent.
The site software, and the navigation, are the same as RennList, where I see you post now and then.
I do think that we may need to look at simplifying the arrangement a bit. In my shop, I use boxes on shelves for the major part of the storage. I have a rule - If I can't write a short label clearly defining what is inside a box, I need to change what is inside the box. If I violate this rule, I lose stuff...
I can see where it would be confusing to decide whether to post a comment in "Say Good Morning Here" or in "General Discussion", or perhaps even in "Technical Discussion".

Wally we thank you so very much for your technical help and you are right about

some of this is my fault for not being more organized.
If you would like to send me an e-mail of a change that you think would help I will try to get to it and then when I get it done, send the second change that you think will work. Maybe we can get some things cleaned up and the links named properly.
You could even start a poll on an idea and see if the other members like it.
This is also what is cool about 928oc, you as a member have direct say as to what the forum looks like and how things are arranged.
I have tried my best but sometimes home life does not allow me the time to work on the site.
It can take hours.
