His license info should be printed on the side of the truck and he can report him given that the guy threatened him and is refusing to give his insurance info.

If the buyer used a broker, he can contact the broker and get this information from him. These guys are pretty well regulated and the buyer has recourse.

I passed it on to him along with our statement and pictures of the car on the truck BUT can not see the name. ALSO pictures of the fuel tank NICE AND DRY about 4 months ago sitting in my garage.

No problem, whomever arranged the shipment (broker) should be able to get the US DOT number. If he has a name/contact number. He can probably look it up online. Have your buyer look here for more information www.fmcsa.dot.gov/
