reverse switch

Have a question I am working on the reverse lights on my girlfriends 85 928. I found the gear selector switch but I am unable to find the 2 prong female plug every website shows it has. I looked all over the transmission but no luck can you help I would be great full since i have spent hours on this so far tracing wires.
