I have most, if not all, the parts to build a stroked/bored motor, and also have a second bored block with a set of pistons to go with it.

The stroker build parts are not even remotely cheap.

The bored block with pistons could go for $2k, but it is just the start, custom rods would be needed to work with the pistons and 5L crank. I could include a 5L crank for another $500.

My parts are probably beyond what you are seeking, but if you have a bored/stroked motor appetite and many thousands to spend....

Stan speaks the truth... These 6.5L engines are REALLY EXPENSIVE! Just look at what Doc Brown gets for them... Turn key in your car is $40k++!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!

just a normal 5L..... :-P if i had a JOB (stay at home dad right now), i might try a stroker.... but boost will be cheaper. i have this itch to do a nice clean 32v motor build. i see lots of power coating and shinny bits in my head...

Boost is MUCH, MUCH cheaper, and if done correctly and tuned correctly should be just fine! If you want to club race the car you will never get enough boost, reliably without taking the engine apart and really twisting it to be competitive. I think a boosted 928 would have to run in GT1... highly built out race cars in the 2200# area with 600HP! YEA, HELL of a class to have to race in!
