You can be a mechanic or technician...The choice is in HOW you fix it, not THAT you fix it.

I realize that this is not 928 related, but it is Porsche related. I am considering buying a Cayenne, used...It's a 2004 with high mileage, 200k, but has all the paperwork to substantiate the required maintenance...not really worried about the mileage, but more about everyone's thoughts on the vehicle in general. I would like to make an educated decision here...price is right and I've been searching the "other" site trying to troll. Thanks for the input regardless of if it's positive or negative.Josh

Well, no one decided to tell me I'm an idiot, so I bought it, she's home now and sitting next to the Euro...at least I can tow a Porsche with a Porsche now...lol...
On a bright note, new tires, no deferred maintenance and ALL of the records since new...it's now a 2 owner. I looked up the options...$3,200 for the leather dash? wtf...at least it matches the shark...
hope everyone is having fun...still working out the bugs in the Euro, but it's getting closer...both the car and the weather.

I have two cayenne's; one Cayenne S (wifies) and one twin turbo (mine) both 2004 vehicles. driveshaft done on both, and replaced coolant pipes other than that, trouble-free.

Still going well. No issues. The turbo is at 153000 miles, just did the valve cover gaskets, starter, power steering pump, belts and waterpump. I reckon it should be good for another 153k...

Had a slight hiatus on here. Refreshed and glad to get back into my 928 and other p cars. I ended up getting the 04 cayanne s. Wejt to sharks in hell today and turned 220k on the way. Coolant pipes were done by me shortly after purchase. All other maint was completed by the P.O. prior. I love it...looking at an 06 turbo s to add to the stable
